Evidence and source register
The corpus is deep enough to reveal mechanisms and disagreement. It is not a licence to repeat every confident sentence.

The eight-book corpus totals 954 pages and approximately 303,180 extractable words. The prior Golden Edition is a ninth editorial input, not a factual authority.
Reliability tiers used in editing
Tier A — stable mechanism. Definitions, identities, arithmetic, and broadly stable causal relationships: opportunity cost, present value, statement linkage, contribution, cash conversion, dilution arithmetic, reversibility.
Tier B — operating judgment. Useful rules whose value depends on context: keep slack, trust in tranches, use paid pilots, disqualify weak opportunities, protect a deep-work block, build an investment policy. The book states conditions and failure modes rather than presenting them as law.
Tier C — current or regulated claim. Tax, law, registration, employment, financial products, deposit protection, market procedure, health, and public programs. These are dated, linked to an official route, or converted into a verification procedure.
Tier D — narrative or unverified precision. Invented narrator biography, famous-company causal stories, uncited percentages, private-company estimates, and dramatic wealth claims. These were omitted unless a carefully labelled example performed a necessary teaching job.
Material intentionally not imported
- • The fictional “decades in business” autobiography in The Long Game. The cadence and tools were useful; the biography is not treated as real.
- • Current-return assumptions, fixed asset allocations, product recommendations, U.S. retirement-account rules, credit-score prescriptions, and U.S.-specific securities procedures.
- • Exact public-company and famous-founder case numbers from secondary teaching PDFs without primary filings.
- • Technical derivatives, trading tactics, high-frequency-market detail, and leverage instructions that could turn literacy into false confidence.
- • Prescriptive sleep, nutrition, exercise, lab, supplement, relationship, or mental-health protocols. The book protects capacity and routes crisis to qualified care.
- • Repeated motivational lists that did not add a mechanism, condition, decision, or tool.
Corrections applied
- • Large discrete price changes use midpoint elasticity rather than percentage changes from inconsistent bases.
- • A bond is valued as discounted contractual cash flows—coupons plus principal—not by the corpus’s invalid coupon/yield shortcut.
- • Operating cash flow and free cash flow are informative, not manipulation-proof.
- • Interest-bearing debt/equity and total liabilities/equity are separately named.
- • ROIC uses an average operating-capital concept and is presented as an analytical question, not a mechanically comparable universal score.
- • OCF above net income is an investigation signal, not proof of quality.
- • No universal current ratio, interest coverage, LTV:CAC, payback, emergency-month, or withdrawal-rate threshold is published.
Prior interview corpus
The prior audit materials described 362 parsed interview records across 164 videos, 133 manually audited records, and 123 remaining manual-review items. They also identified hundreds of self-reported or externally unverified claims. This edition therefore uses interview material only as a prompt for judgment. The signals below are retained because legacy chapters link to them; they are not audited biography or causal evidence.
E01 Andy Frisella · persistence and a long early struggle. The interviewee reports a slow first decade. Useful signal: an unglamorous beginning is not a verdict. Caution: persistence still requires adaptation, evidence, and affordable survival. Source segment.
E03 Bill Ackman · long horizon, reading, and current technical tools. Useful signal: pair broad learning with a high-leverage capability. Caution: a brief opinion segment is not a labour-market or investment study. Source segment.
E04 Arthur Blank · customer listening and trust. Useful signal: observe customers with humility and protect trust. Caution: company-value and biography claims in the supplied interview were not independently verified. Source segment.
E05 Richard Harpin · adapt a proven model. Useful signal: novelty is not required where demand exists and execution can improve. Caution: transaction and financial claims are self-reported. Source segment.
E06 Michael Weistrach · measured distribution and questions. Useful signal: instrument the channel and learn from buyers. Caution: growth and transaction claims are self-reported. Source segment. Cash flow over headline net worth. Useful signal: the timing of collectible cash matters more to E07 survival than a paper valuation. Caution: the supplied audit notes that the record blends interviews; only the general mechanism is used. Source segment.
E08 Initiation, follow-up, and relationship capital. Useful signal: become known through reliable exchange. Caution: identity, company count, revenue, and wealth claims are self-reported. Source segment.
E09 Randall Kaplan · direct outreach and asking for a decision. Useful signal: precise initiation and a respectful request are learnable. Caution: valuation and scale claims are self-reported. Source segment.
E10 Ishmael Valdez · sales as a foundational skill. Useful signal: customer acquisition deserves deliberate practice. Caution: U.S.-context entity advice and sale claims do not transfer automatically to India. Source segment.
E12 Consistency, hiring bar, and selected control of bottlenecks. Useful signal: hire against evidence and own only the dependencies whose control justifies their cost. Caution: identity, assets, projects, and market claims are self-reported. Source segment. For any interview anecdote, ask: What is attributed? What is verified? Which starting conditions are missing? Which failures are absent? What mechanism could transfer? What small test could falsify it? What would make me stop?
RED LINE Never make a tax, securities, health, legal, leverage, or regulated-business decision from an interview anecdote.

This ledger covers the material exact or potentially volatile India facts retained in the book. The check establishes what the linked authority displayed on 8 August 2026; it does not establish that a rule applies to a reader. Where the book only names a discovery route, the ledger says so. A filing, benefit, complaint, product, data, tax, employment, securities, or crisis decision still requires the current controlling source and the qualified reviewer named in Tool 24.
